Welcome to Shaughnessey-Banks Funeral Home.

Our family funeral home was incorporated in 1952 by Thomas R. Shaughnessey, Jr. and Jack Shaughnessey who had a calling to help people in their community during one of life's most difficult times.

As second generation funeral directors, our goal here at the funeral home is to help you through the process and companion you even after the funeral is over. It is my hope that you will find our website informative if you are at the difficult time of being in need of our immediate services; whether you need information to preplan a funeral; if you are sending an on-line condolence or just need directions to our facility.

Here at our funeral home, we pride ourselves in the personalized services we offer each family. We believe a funeral is a tribute to a life that was lived and we want to make each service meaningful to you. Our staff strives to make you feel comfortable and secure.

We care about your loss; we are sensitive to your needs and we want to ensure that the services you select are right for you and your entire family. We are experts in guiding you through the funeral process and we also strongly believe in providing support and resources to you after the funeral is over, the hardest time for any family.

Being three time recipients of the "National Pursuit of Excellence" Award we are among the leaders in the funeral industry. We are proud to be a part of this premier program honoring professional integrity, outstanding community service, and high ethical standards.

We encourage you to visit us to tour our facilityand meet our staff. We are all committed to the community we serve and to providing every family with the highest standard of excellence in everything we do.
