Cremation Options
I. Traditional Cremation Services with Visitation and Funeral Services
Professional services include: submitting obituary, coordination with clergy & fielding inquiries, removal of the deceased from the hospital or convalescent home, embalming, dressing and casketing, crematory fee, medical examiner's fee, use of the facilities for four hours, traditional church services, transporation to crematory and memorial package.
Interment services may be added to the above package.
II. Gathering at the funeral home with Memorial Services
Professional services include: submitting obituary, coordination with clergy and fielding inquiries, setting up flowers and memorabilia, removal from the hospital or convalescent home, refrigeration of the deceased, disposable casket, crematory fee, medical examiner's fee transporation to the crematory, use of the facilities for two hours and memorial package.
Interment services may be added to this package.
III. Memorial Services at a Church
Professional services include: submitting obituary, coordinating with church, florists and cemetery where applicable, removal from a hospital or convalescent home, refrigeration for 48 hours, disposable casket, crematory fee, medical examiner's fee, transportation to the crematory, staff for the memorial service to ensure proper sign-in of all attendees as well as payment to all those involved, the register book, prayer cards and thank-you notes (50).
Interment services may be added to the above package.
IV. Immediate Cremation with no services provided.
Professional fees include: Removal from the hospital or convalescent home, refrigeration (48 hours), disposable container, crematory fee, medical examiner's fee and transportation to the crematory.
*Cost of Certified Death Certificates ($10.00 per copy), obituary charges, church fees,
minister fees, urns, caskets and the removal from home are additional.
It is also the policy of the funeral home that any viewing of the deceased necessitates embalming.
